1. The Tiny Seed: Good story to teach the life cycle of a plant. Realistic fiction and teaching about the life cycle of a plant. I also use this story for predictions and using inferencing skills.
2. Pancakes, Pancakes : Good story for  story sequencing and following directions.
3. House for a Hermit Crab: Good for word choice lessons in writing using adjectives to help build word choice.  Has lots of adjectives to describe the different animals. This story also has great sequencing skills.
4. The Mountain that Loved a Bird: This story is good for practice sequencing a story. This story also has a ton of prefixes with the ing and ed ending. This story is also great for reviewing characters traits.
